**Important! Spintronics Act One is needed to play this game. This is a continuation of Spintronics Act One.**

Continue Natalia's time-winding adventure and help her build more advanced spintronic circuits for the town of Little Hope. This Act Two kit begins where Act One leaves off. New parts including transistors and inductors open a vast frontier of new possibilities. The puzzles also grow more challenging, with 82 more puzzles ranging from intermediate to advanced.

Spintronics is a new game (ages 8 to adult) from the makers of Turing Tumble where players build mechanical circuits to solve puzzles. Players feel the pull of voltage and see the flow of current as they discover electronics in a tangible and deeply intuitive way, using the first physical equivalent of electronics ever built. It’s fun, fascinating, easy-to-learn, and irresistible to play.

This kit includes everything you'll need to play and complete the Act Two puzzle book:

  • 1 - Act Two puzzle book
  • 2 - Spintronic transistors
  • 1 - 55 H Spintronic inductor
  • 1 - 500 Ω Spintronic resistor
  • 4 - Spintronics junctions
  • 1 - 1.2 mF Spintronic capacitor/voltmeter
  • 300 - Chain links
  • 3 - Base tiles
  • 6 - Tile connectors

Finally got my hands on it

Spintronics is a very interesting and fun puzzle/toy that’s very educational. As a 35 y/o man I am learning legitimate things about electricity and electronics that have already made certain concepts easier for me to wrap my mind around. The first day I got it I spent several hours going through the book of puzzles and coming up with lots of different ways to solve problems and make functioning mechanical circuits. The tactility of the toy is a very important part of what makes it so educationally inspiring, watching and touching the circuits I make really makes understanding more intuitive and less memorized.

All of the components are very satisfying to handle, great care clearly went into the engineering and production of them. They are not fragile, though they ought to be handled with care. I really cannot overemphasize the degree to which I enjoy and am comfortable handling the pieces. When I received mine one of the switches was slightly defective, I reached out to upper story and they got back to me within the hour. Nobody asked me for proof of the defect, and the replacement part was en route to me incredibly fast. Not only is this company interested in revolutionizing education but they are also committed to customer service.

In conclusion Spintronics is a fascinating thing that I have derived hours of mind stimulating fun from and will derive many many more.

I like the title of Spintronics!

I feel like the components lend themselves for students to experiment building mechanical circuits.

    Love the title!

The content is great. I have not had a chance to get back to it or to teach it yet, but will this fall. Thank you!
